Three Spring Concerts

You are Invited to a Joint Concert with Jack Ashton's Young Artist Chamber Players and Suzuki Strings Cedar City on Saturday, April 13, at 4 p.m. in the St. Jude's Episcopal Church at 70 N. 200 West in Cedar City.  Free and the public is invited. Jack Ashton, retired from the Utah Symphony, has cultivated a strong string program and these young adults are exceptional.  Video from previous performance: Red Pony Suite by Copland on last season's program.

Rocky Mountain Strings and Suzuki Strings Cedar City present a joint concert on Thursday, April 25, at 7 p.m. in the SUU Music Building Thorley Recital Hall. Free and the public is invited. Special guests are the Red Rock Singers.  This outstanding group of young musicians from Salt Lake City has toured Europe.  More information: https://www.rockymountainstrings.org/home  Special thanks to the Red Rock Singers under the direction of Keith Bradshaw for joining the visiting violinists for a special number.  The group will also perform in St. George on April 26 at 7 p.m. at the St. George Tabernacle.

Rocky Mountain Strings

Annual Spring concert on Thursday, May 2, 7 p.m. at the SUU Music Building Thorley Recital Hall.  Celebrating our 36th Annual Spring Concert with music by Vivaldi, Telemann, and Mozart.  We also have fiddling and popular tunes like "Over the Rainbow" for your enjoyment.  $5 suggested donation and the public is invited.

Regional Workshop November 1 & 2, 2019

We are thrilled to announce our annual workshop!  This year we have clinicians from around Utah.  Please join us for this wonderful musical opportunity!  Workshop is included for group class participants. There is a workshop only option (click below).  Teachers are welcome at no cost.  Workshop registration is online: Workshop Only Registration The workshop begins on Friday (11/1) at the Heritage Theater in Cedar City.  Hours are: Friday 3:30 to 7:00 pm.  Saturday 9 am to 2:00 pm with a 5:00 concert (Call time is 4:30).  Lunch is provided for all participants on Saturday.   (The Storybook Parade is at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon.)   Payments are accepted under the "Payments" tab on the blog site through PayPal.  You can also send a check written to "Suzuki Strings"  c/o Amy Gold, 12 N.
