April 16, 2016 Concert with Young Artist Chamber Players and Suzuki Strings

Thanks to everyone who participated in the concert.   We always enjoy working with Jack Ashton and his Young Artist Chamber Players.  Music included Vaughan Williams Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, which was exquisite in St. Jude's.  Here's a link so you can revisit this wonderful music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihx5LCF1yJY

The full American Suite by Keith Bradshaw will be on the Orchestra of Southern Utah concert on April 21, 7:30 p.m. at the Heritage Center.  Thanks to soloists Natalie and Hannah Bradshaw who performed two movements as a preview with their sister Lydia Feild at the piano.

Our combined pieces of Brandenburg #2 and "Entrance of the Queen of Sheba" from Handel's oratorio Solomon will be on the upcoming Suzuki Strings Concert on May 12, 7 p.m., Heritage Center.

Thanks to parents and teachers for the photos below of the rehearsal and performance.  Thanks to the St. Jude's Episcopal Church for sharing their beautiful sanctuary with our young musicians.  We also appreciate pianists Marie Ashton and JaNell Wood for helping with the concert.
